    Ebay $9 blu-ray pens: GREAT!

Is it possible to evaluate this one and the one from ETIMESHOP -etiemshop is a great pen. i use as a great pointer in my classes. My 50mW Ledshoppe green is too bright - the public may get eyes hurt if the room is too dark. so i use this 5mW (presumably overspec) etimeshop pen. i like the 405nm...

Not only this, DJNY, have you realized that this map doesn't show anybody from asia?! this is quite interesting! seems like lasers are something quite exclusive to europe and americas... strange pattern!

    405nm Pen from Etimeshop (Ebay)

    50 mW green laser safety

i believe u r right. but just for the hell of it, i bought 2 units of their "700mw" laser - with shippment it still gets pretty affordable. and more than 2 units might draw customs attention. so - if it outputs 5mw, at least it looks fancy! eeheh let's wait and see!

    50 mW green laser safety

whoa! 700mw for 0,99$??? are u sure this site is not a scam?!?!?! has anyone ever used this? is this real? thx!

    50 mW green laser safety

Yes - i do have a 50mw ledshoppe. however, i have no intentions of burning stuff now. whenever i do, i'll try to buy a cheap and crappy focalprice 200mw pointer. luckly it will output something around 50-100mw -but hey! is is only 38$! where else can you get a 100mw pointer for 38$? (ok guys, be...

    50 mW green laser safety

i kinda think like you! 0,1 degree is almost a straight line for me as well! and besides: if you have smaller divergence, u wont be abloe to see the dot 1km away - it would be so small! well - i think 2mrad is pretty fair for pointing lasers, and showing stars.

WTB: Green laser pointer 200mW help

oww... that is too bad. i really think it would be a shame to buy a 200mw on focal price and receive something less than 100mw. are u guys sure there is no way i can ask the focalrice guys to test this unit's output? thx!

WTB: Green laser pointer 200mW help

what about this: FOCALPRICE have u guys had any experience with this unit so far? it is so cheap it is worth to risk, or maybe i should spare 3 times as much and buy myself a rayfoss? how do you think? i am interested in a strong beam that i can point really really far away. burning is...

About Eye Lesion due to laser - an Anatomical Physiological discussion.

Yes, you guys are right. I thought in mistake, because at first I was thinking as if the surgery used IR lasers. but it uses UV, and doesn't reach retina, of course. it would be a lot of damage to do such procedure using IR after all. Ok - so be it. and a propos: I browsed pubmed.com for some...

About Eye Lesion due to laser - an Anatomical Physiological discussion.

Hey Pontiaccg5! this is my point! Retina cells are neuron cells indeed, but ALSO - they receive a lot of blood and nutrients, which means that unless they are killed, they will be able to regenerato to almost 100% of their functions. what i mean is: there can be some damage, but retina can heal...
