Slight necrobump, but to post relevant info: imo, while sky handheld and PL handheld lasers are top notch, their pen lasers aren't very good in comparison. I've owned two and wouldn't rush to own another. The CNI laserglow and similar offerings are better quality.

I personally don't play but one of my friends does and apparently my knee is a Pokemon hotspot.

deluxe halophosphor tubes wth excellent CRI existed for decades, before triphosphor became common. Efficiency was a small trade off, but some assert that even today the light quality of certain deluxe halos remain unsurpassed. Some of the replies on that thread are also spreading misinformation...

Clear medium pressure mercury vapour. Rarer than rocking horse shit, these fell out of use decades ago when high pressure mercury vapour, which was more efficient and could be burned horizontal, took over. I am fortunate enough to own this one, and fired it up a handful of times to photograph...

I'm on a Mac with Safari (at least let me finish my drink before burning me at the stake!) which has a tendency to start downloads automatically and quietly. Just checked my folder and haven't had this; been pretty active here too.

I'd suggest lessons in economics for him then. If he can't take the idea of starting a company and potentially having it fail, go work for someone else and enjoy having a regular wage while letting the boss worry about the balance sheets. That's because I used film some of the time. It gives the red beams that sort of saturated tron look. face painting with a laser. eyes firmly closed lol.

It's an explosion of colour, so satisfying to look at. I like that you have a "laser room".

Re: selling lab 473 - massive price drop Yep, I had a feeling it wouldn't sell at the original price even although it's really worth that. Missing the facia plate in the real world probably devalued it. Anyway, it's now sold.
