    Post your: Desk/Work area!

Thanks Phi, The Extra space is God sending. I love it. It has sped up my work at least 30% so far. Whats funny though is it feels weird. Like iam not use to it. You know what i mean.? Like everything is at different places. I catch myself all the time reaching for something knowing that...

I for sure was not drinking Margaritas in the sunset thats for sure. I think i could have used better words but what i meant by new was more so dont know the forums store when it comes to drivers. Yeah i seen it. Though iam going to drop you a line about it to give you more info on it...

    Post your: Desk/Work area!

Hey All, So here is my newly put together workroom. This room is still not yet fully put back together, i still have some power supply's and laser driver current supplies and some more electronics that need to get put back into the room and a many little tool stuff but i would say 90% of it is...

Looking for an equivalent driver to the X-drivers

OP, No one is Missing.:san: Iam still here buddy.:san: My drivers are all still available.:san: Jeff has them, DTR Still has them and i still have them all available. Last activity from me was a few days ago on this forum and Ive been on since then answering my backlog of pm's from my break...

Angelo is missing since 04-15-2014: any notice about him ??

Hey Minamoto I took a break from LPF as i was dealing with alot of stuff the past couple months. I wont openly say the stuff as some of the stuff are private things but if its something i need to share to you for proof i will in PM. So i have not taken any projects on "LPF Wise" Since then...

X-Drive work for Case Positive Diode?

Slight clarification guys so just incase someone reads this they dont make any mistakes.:) Yes the X-Drive can work with case + diodes. However if the diode is case + you must Isolate the diode from the case if you do use an X-Drive for a Case + diode as the X-Drive does not have a continuous +...

    488nm Direct Diode 20mW CNI-PGL-III-C Custom Build

Thanks.:) Next up will be Dirrect double.:D Ive been in my cave. If you Pm'ed me and i dint respond. Sorry. I missed it. Ill ave to go back and find it.... you guys should know me by now. At least for the past 4-5 months i cannot keep up.:( Well keep in mind this is Dirrect diode. If you...

    Pioneer 16X BDR-209DBK

You can have it board out to hold a 12mm module instead now. Ive never seen 3.8 to 5.6mm. Iam not even sure it would be smart to use them for such a high voltage/current diode. Plus it would be very hard to center the diode /beam.

    Pioneer 16X BDR-209DBK

Nice test Results as always. As for being the same ones i sell. Well iam not sure about that. There is 2 "1W" 405nm 3.8mm diodes i sell. I dont really have names Here is one 1) This is thefirst one i sold for some time I sold these diodes above^ as >850mW with a G lens...

    488nm Direct Diode 20mW CNI-PGL-III-C Custom Build

Thanks.:) Lets see what and if they post. Never know.? hehe j/k Me too. I like how this driver came out. Iam sure there is a few out there that have dead CNI-PGL-III-C hosts. Since its an X-Boost that means it can at least in this setup drive up to ~1.8A.:) So good enough for anything...

    488nm Direct Diode 20mW CNI-PGL-III-C Custom Build

Hey All, Custom CNI-PGL-III-C Direct Diode 488nm SkyBlue Diode Laser  A long and awaiting for thread. This is a thread dedicated to my build and a few points on testing the diode. There will be another thread full of details on what i have learned and tested about these...

    Indium foil on a 5w 650nm C-mount diode?

IMO if you can get some Indium foil then do so. It does not hurt and can only make it better. But its not a must. As long as you sand down the block its getting mounted to that "Should" be enough. Think of it this way. when you press a diode into a module you normally use thermal paste to...

    New Nichia 9mm 1W 520nm diode (NDG7475T)

Re: New Nichia 9mm 1W 520nm diode Yeah for a laser projector these would be pretty much corrected the same way the 445 9mm have been corrected as with good results. Thats what iam mostly looking forward to with these. Its going to be amazing to see a quad setup or more. Even a dual setup will...

    New Nichia 9mm 1W 520nm diode (NDG7475T)

Re: New Nichia 9mm 1W 520nm diode haha. Naaa not this one guys.:na: I just seen it. I did not see these coming at all or did i know about them. Iam not one that likes green to much so i dont keep up with ths WL. Though one thing i want to point out again that was pointed out above but...

    UPDATE! 12/7/13 :D 9mm 445nm Troubles

Re: 9mm 445nm Troubles TO clarify a few things so that no one gets confused. For the future if you are confused about anything just drop me a line. It was not me who said not to use Arctic Silver. That must of been another member.:) You can use either arctic silver adhesive or alumina...

    Final Stage: Battle Royale

OK Great. Lets hope it was just the drivers that failed. There is something about the X-Drives that i noticed over the years of making them is when someone makes an error in there setup "whatever the error is" that usually if they where using another brand driver and they had an error in the...

    Final Stage: Battle Royale

Hey Guys Great builds. A few things. Yes the X-Drive should not be paralleled as you can only get the MAX currant out of what 1 driver can deliver per the Max Switch of the driver. (4A) So if you parallel say 3 drivers and there set to 3A each you wont get 9A but only a MAX of 4A...

488nm Direct Double MG Lab Laser System

Thanks buddy.:) Hehe. Iam certain you can get one if you want one.;) This system was very hard to complete. Main Issue was finding the dang controller for it. I have never seen those lab ones available before anywhere. "Surplus" I searched and searched action to action and got nothing. Till i...

488nm Direct Double MG Lab Laser System

Yeah sure i hear you on that. I just dont have the room or the power consumption in my home to run what Argon systems i want. DPSS is it for now for me. Though iam highly interested in die laser now.:undecided: Ha thats funny. Thats exactly what i was talking about. "The Temp...

488nm Direct Double MG Lab Laser System

This is Surplus my friend.:) THe Majority of the laser lab "Branded" systems you see posted on the forums from the leading laser companys of the world is usually purchased Surplus. Sometime you get lucky and get NEW old stock but in most case the lasers are used and still have a lifetime ahead...
