Pila IBCT charger and AW protected 18650 batteries review

I hear you. I got all the way to work the next day before I realized what I had done. Immediately got back in the car and drove back home to get it off the charger and said a little thank you prayer that I didn't burn my family to death while sleeping the previous night.

Pila IBCT charger and AW protected 18650 batteries review

No, I did not do it as a test, it was an accident (head up butt) and it (the WL battery) was left in the WL supplied charger over night, not the pila. After the accident, I keep the pila charger within eye shot and monitor it. Not the WL are great batteries... well any product that the...

Pila IBCT charger and AW protected 18650 batteries review

I just received my pila yesterday. My AW rcr123's charge to 4.18v, the WL 18650 charge to 4.20v. I feel much safer with the pila, but accidentally left a WL supplied 18650, in the WL supplied charger (same as yours electron) over night and it stopped at 4.24v. Not great but eh. If I buy...

    BudgetGadgets 200mw 405nm Reviewed

This is what I received from BudgetGadgets.com when I ordered a 200mw 405nm focusable laser. BudgetGadgets 200mw 405nm focusable laser Mislabeled tag on laser, the wrong mw isn't such an issue for me but the wavelength is a bit of an issue. Dangerous if your looking for green but don’t see...

Forget bursting balloons with a laser

I thought that on the first shot in part one. 1. Firing in the house, expelling gunpowder stink. 2 and 3, firing on a glass table with no backstop to keep the bearing out of the sheetrock.. From there it just gets worse, not that I didn't do stupid and inconsiderate poo when I was young...

    WTB: WL Arctic

When I saw your post in that thread, it made me think of selling mine. As hated as it is by some, to me it’s a piece of nostalgia. Even none laze persons are likely to know of its ability to "instantly set people on fire". The price is all over the place for these things. Personally $510 for...

    Glasses Question

Are you sure this true? To our eyes, green is a more detectible wavelength, but my understanding is that it is the output power that is damaging, irregardless of wavelength (ignoring the fact that wavelengths our eyes can not detect, IR/UV, are scary because you may not know your lazing...

So I dissassebled a whole bunch of DL DVD burners at work today

I'm located in east Fort Worth, Eastchase/I-30 area. Y'all get this figured out, I'd like to assemble my own laze one day. Anybody got a LPM, I'd like to compare mine to yours. I think mine is accurate but it would be nice to compare meters.

200mW Green Focus Adjustable Laser from BudgetGadgets - Detailed Review

You’re right. To the naked eye, the dot has the same starburst effect of my 405 pen but have never looked at my 445 indoors without shades. Night outside now, dot looks very much like the 405, beam is not very visible, 445, although MUCH stronger, is very visible. The less than pin focused...

200mW Green Focus Adjustable Laser from BudgetGadgets - Detailed Review

No need to start a new thread so.. I just received the same host for BudgetGadgets this afternoon, accidentally ordered the blue/violet 200mw instead of the 532nm. Damm thing only meters at 70mw peak using the supplied battery, 3v, that tested at ~3.02 volts. Put in a 3.912v rcr123 and...

    Saftey goggles comparison

Was the camera used for the comparison put in manual mode and using the same aperture, shutter time and iso for all of the shades? If all these variable settings are not locked and the same, a true subjective visual analysis would be impossible. To me, the apparent grain varies quite a bit...

    Ebay $9 blu-ray pens: GREAT!

how much of a turn takes it from lowest of highest. I got the hole drilled but couldn't turn the dam pot for anything (seems mine had some goo applied to keep the pot at factory setting) so ordered some precision screwdrivers from ebay to get better leverage on it. Do the pots have a hard stop...

Need a Laser to kill Spiders (!!)

Uhhh, right, putting a spider in a jar is the differentiating factor between man and woman.. mmkay You should raise your IQ by researching what a phobia is. It doesn’t have to make sense to you but the fear, whatever it may be, is very real for the person with the phobia. Some may think your...

If You've Actually Received Your Spyder III Arctic - Post Here

What's the title of this thread again? was it " If you hate WL and/or Arctics, please post" no, no, I don’t think that's it. Maybe it was "If you don’t own an Arctics, please post" that cant be it. Oh, Oh, Oh! I just read the title "If You've Actually Received Your Spyder III Arctic - Post...

    Ebay $9 blu-ray pens: GREAT!

Ok ok, you've convinced me, you have dumb friends, j/k :) That's a big problem, not just with lasers. EVERYTHING has some sort of warning label on it, associated with it or someone telling you things like "You'll grow hair on your palms if you do this or that..", "If you ingest this or that...

    Ebay $9 blu-ray pens: GREAT!

Sorry guy, that is partialy your fault for not explaining to them the associated dangers along with the do's and don'ts. Laser safety is not common sense. Most people's concept of a laser is thing you see commonly in presentations or a toy that you can buy for $5 in the checkout line. One...
