Hi, That 505nm diodes now are case POS+ that means that the diode in the12mm copper module needs to be isolated. Take o price of Kempton tape its non conductive wrap it around the module enough to slide it in the heat sink of the host. Then wire it accordingly . Rich:)

yes I discarded the entire led and driver portion and bored out the rear to fit snug over the threads of the battery tube. Inside is a custom contact board wired . All is secured by a set screw , this is a great small pen for some single mode diodes. Believe it took a lot of time to machine this...
