I reset it to 16 posts per page instead of 8. I found some other server settings that should hopefully reduce the impact of when DDoS does happen. In the past reducing the posts per page did help a lot but hopefully the settings I changed should help out enough If you notice anything odd...

i found the bug in my rule by searching your IP and seeing what i did wrong the app should work now i think please advise if get more errors

if you get an unknown response error, it probably means a rule i wrote has a bug in it. im putting in some custom mod security rules to secure the app a bit more , and this could cause false positives
