Banggood are legit as far as getting you the item is concerned. Reasonable prices too. Whether the item will be up to spec is more debatable.

That's kinda tough. A Jetlasers PL-E pro will do up to 1W, but even those don't have an unlimited duty cycle. Something with a direct green diode like the Sanwu 1W 520nm spiker series would be a better option.

Nice review, I wouldn't worry too much about the IR filtering assuming that gray personally said they have it. Seems like it should be easy to test if you have laser goggles and a camera that can pick up IR.

They're decent quality, but dramatically overpriced. That's my best analysis of them. Sanwu or Jetlasers will almost always get you better value.

I've had the same problem before where I ordered a silver unit and got a black one. Wasn't a big deal to me either, but it seems like something they should be more careful about. Some customers might be a bit more picky about stuff like that.

Wtf does 'painfully bright to look at' even mean? I have a flashlight that's painfully bright, but that doesn't mean it's an eye hazard. I swear, people just get worked up any time lasers are involved even if there's no actual danger whatsoever.
