    Focusing lens

Hi, I was told once laser lens have two sides and if I insert it in the wrong side it reflects more light and kills the diode. So I was wondering - is it a problem if I overfocus a laser (in which the lens are in the right side)? I mean for example that after I focus the laser to get a single...

    Problem with driver board

Yes but the conductive squares that were in the side of the board which were intended for the button pins are gone so if I move the button more to the side it's pins won't be in contact with the conductive copper lines so the laser won't work. I want to put conductive material where the...

    Problem with driver board

Here is a photo: You can see that the button is on the side of the board and only 2 pins (the right ones) are soldered to the board.

    Problem with driver board

I succeded soldering a 4-pins button in a position on the side of the driver so that only 2 pins touch the conductive lines. But it's still not good - I must find a way to put the button in the middle so that it fit to the host. Can you think of a way to do so?

    Problem with driver board

I have another button with 2 pins that I think would work because it's smaller. How can I connect it? I have to solder it in crossway to the to conductive lines you see in the picture?

    Problem with driver board

where the black spots there is no copper (you see there some solder because it burned a little bit when I disoldered the button today) and I need somehow to make this spots conductors again. How can I do so?

    Problem with driver board

Hi, I recently disassembled a green pen laser that I bought in dealextreme 2 years ago, but to do so I had to remove the button from the driver board. after I did so I realized that the copper squares (like those where you solder laser diode to) that were where the button was connected removed...

    Problem with soldering

What solder gun power should I use?

    Problem with soldering

But one thin layer of flux would do the job? If I get pen flux will it do the job? I'll contact the member right now :) And do you know also what can I use to paste laser diode to heatsink so it won't fall if the solder falls? Thanks!

    Problem with soldering

I didn't find "flayminpyro flux" can you show me the product? And I found two solder suckers but one of them looks just as a soldering machine: Antistatic Vacuum Soldering Desoldering Solder Pump Sucker Gun Iron Removal Tool | eBay 1× Solder Removal Vacuum Desoldering Pump Sucker | eBay Which to...

    Problem with soldering

Thanks you all very much for commenting! The problem with flux is that it is really hard to apply it in such tiny places (At least it is hard to apply it with the flux I have). Can you suggest me a flux that is easier to apply? What about pen flux? Is it good? Anyway, how can I use it to clean...

    Problem with soldering

Hi, I have a big problem with soldering - I already two times tried to solder to driver - first time it was a laser diode and the second time it was a part fell from violet laser's driver. in those two incidents I just in mistake connected with solder two dots which shouldn't be connected (they...

    Is it a good laser?

No matter, I will test this laser. :)

Where to buy batteries and what of which company?

But dealextreme is a good place to buy batteries? They sell genuine batteries? I saw in this thread only battery junction which looks good.
