btw i dont care where its made, Kenometer Pro looks fantastic both in terms of aesthetics and spec and as soon as i have the funds i will be looking to buy one.

No idea about that company (or any UK retailer of lasers as i havent bought a laser from the UK in over a decade) but i have not had any problems (so far) with importing lasers from overseas.
There are plenty of threads on this board with reviews of companies products and level of service...
No those are not certified, EN 207 (EU) or ANSI Z 136 (US) are the standards for laser safety glasses and if they where certified they would be marked with the wavelength range and protection level as well as a CE mark (in the EU not sure about the US) any company selling certified glasses will...

Personally i would buy certified goggles/glasses for the reason that the certification means the goggles have been tested and proven effective for their intended use and that gives me peace of mind, whether that peace of mind and guaranteed protection is worth...
