Thanks, I ordered a pair of the protected Panasonic/Sanyo 18650s from Liionwholesale. How come it's been said to steer clear of Surefire (I can understand why to avoid Ultrafire...) batteries? From what I understand they are a quasi-defense contractor that provides equipment to military and LE
I just got a Surefire M600DF Scout light and it comes with a protected Surefire brand 18650 battery. I've also got an Olight S2R Baton II which came with an unprotected Olight brand battery. I've read a few times before that these brands produce substandard batteries, and have already got a pair...
On a related note, how do manufacturers ensure that the laser diodes are not destroyed by the muzzle blast? I've always wondered that, especially since my DIY lasers get crap all over the diode windows and eventually just get destroyed. Are diodes inherently fragile or is it a protective...
All of their heat sinks fit the same size modules, except the builds which use the 20mm module adapter, in which case the module itself acts as the heat sink. You wont find any heat sinks for non-12mm modules on their site.
The SL-CHS3 is sized to fit a 12mm diameter standard diode module and includes a 3-48 set screw (installed) and a 0.050" Allen wrench. Also fits other Aurora C6 18650 hosts.
I dont mind doing the MO and I’ve just emailed hak my order. Going with the 465nm 1.4W Mini w/beam expander. Hopefully some more people jump onboard so we can get this done!
Please read the threads about laser safety as well as the linked resources... no, you're not going to use protection at night outdoors with a 30mW green laser but you're making a thread about 7 watts. You need eye protection for that or damage is definitely going to happen no matter what. It can...
You will need eye protection no matter what. Those people on youtube are endangering themselves, anybody in their vicinity, as well as their viewers inadvertently. Hope that helps too.
Crosman has a full auto .177 I was looking at the other day actually. Right now as far as airguns go I've still got my Red Ryder. Speaking of which, great gift idea for OP too
