I have a 9 mega pixel digital camera, but when ever I aim it at my x100's brilliant green beam at night, it will not see it. Do I need a video camera or something? Is there a special way? Thanks.

Alright guys I fugured it out. The reason my matches were not lighting was becuase I was using really old matches. I picked up some new ones, colored them black, and off they went. almost instantly. I can even light them from about 2-3 feet away! Thanks for all the help.
