anytime you have a question that cannot be answered by a search go ahead and send it to me before posting in the forms... also there are one or more LEMs held each year in Cali.. search SoCALLEM and SELEM to see vids made at these events.. I have two friends located in SD who run a lasershow company-- nice peeps (husband & wife) and knowing them for you would be a good thing- they are pros and you would be learning(& enjoying) a lot if you can attend some show they are doing... especailly if you offer to lend a hand in the set=up and take down (basically being a lasershow 'roadie' for a night).

I see you have not yet made a thread-- IMHO you best would be to make an intro of yourself in the WELCOME section-- read those made by others and you will see all the great 'welcomes' they get-- While MANY DJs have laser lights i fear very few are aware of the legality-- & just because you can buy one.. that does not mean its use is legal in most cases-- AFAIK the most common problem happens when someone thinks your laser has harmed them-- IF you get sued they will win every time-- unless you have a FDA variance as well as a variance for each laser-- I have seen vids at YTube where one can see lasers hitting people and in some the name of the DJ is posted as wel as the location and date- these alone are enough to cause a verdict againt the OP.
