Galaxy S2 - very similar to Nexus S hardwarewise. OS is skinned and modified by samsung, slow updates, not the best user experience, a lot of bloatware preloaded...

I can not vouch for N9, as I have never held it in my hand. I suggested it as an option that might fit your device design preference.
