my black dominator's diode died... it shines just enough to see it even after charging up the batteries over night.... how hard would it be to replace the diode?

Re: For sale: 3+Watt Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser. Yea the problem for me is that the lens barrel is separate and they move separate from the silver ring / end cap. Even if I take the lens all the way out, and try to tighten it into the silver ring, then putting it back onto the host...

Re: For sale: 3+Watt Copper Dominator, 2x26650 blue laser. Well I took the silver cap off and turned the brass rings and found the focal point I want but when I try to put the cap back on it keeps spinning inside the cap. Even with trying to hold the brass ring in place w/ a small screw driver...

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $110 I got my arctic s3 today and they sent a measurement graphs along with it. It came out to be 1.679W... I can't imagine how bright a 3W+ will be! :D Of course I had to use my safety glasses. Hoping they will hold up to...

Yes but as he said he's never been on *any forum so he's not accustom to rule of thumb which is true across all discussion boards.... (search first, dont flame, be nice, stickies etc) Anyway as technical as I am (15 years of engineering exp), I don't have a clue how to assemble a working laser...

Everyone has to start somewhere - this forum is for sharing of information and not everyone is an electronics expert... unless some people are born with an innate ability to build circuit boards.... (which no one is) so give the guy a little slack. :beer:
