Re: FS: New Old School Dorcy Junior Flashlights $20 shipped The 2 pics above are of the same "old-version" (classic). The new version has a larger lens area and the ribs on the head extend all the way to the end of the head, instead of just in the middle.

    FS: Stainless Steel C3 kit!

Nice job Jay, as always. It is true that I will not be making any heatsinks for quite a while. These are great feeling and looking and very versatile hosts. The latest one I have bought will accept a CR2 battery witout modification, allowing for Jays 532 module mod. Add in Jays custom parts and...

    Wtb dark horse heatsink

That is correct, you can build a DJR with the simple-HS, I always fit the small HS to the original head-module, but you could just add the spring and it would be similar to the I-hacked tutorial, just lots of extra-room. A little information for those with a spare DJR "simple heatsink" , (not...

    Wtb dark horse heatsink

Just a little clarification: The tutorial from I-hacked used pictures from when the DJR Fullbody was still a "Full-Body" Version 1, when I updated the DJR fullbody to the "V2", the slots do not gothrough all the way anymore, (like in the pictures from I-hacked.com. The Sliver is a completely...

    Capacitor-charger for SSY-1 laser?

Hey guys, So it is time for me to get serious about firing my little SSY-1 Yag-laser. I bought the Laser-head with Q-switch, the original "pulse-forming network" (capacitor-system) and the trigger assembly from Meredith Instruments some time ago, but I have not had the time to play with getting...

"Plug and Play" CO2 laser 5-7W-$150

These are air-cooled units. Shipping to Canada would be an extra $25, for a total of $175. Customs should be interesting, lol. -Barry

Dave is right, it would have to be Jayrob. I will be without a lathe for the time being. Barry

"Plug and Play" CO2 laser 5-7W-$150

The power-supply for the RF-unit needs to be 30VDC@ 10A, IIRC. The specific power-supplies that other members used are in the link I posted in the OP. I think several members used a "Lambda 30VDC-10A" switching PSU to power theirs with great results and I think they paid less than $40 from Ebay...

"Plug and Play" CO2 laser 5-7W-$150

This is a RF-powered CO2 burning Laser-rated 5-7W, minus the 30V power-supply and 5v signal power-supply, (wall-wort). I bought this in the GB from Heruusciences a while back. Some of you may remember when these were offered...

    CLOSED - COLLECTING $ Dorcy Jnr GB - $15.00 Shipped- 07/12/09

Ok guys, Bad news from my point. After a grueling week of dealing with bankers, landlords and machine dealers, we have to move our machines out of our building today, (Saturday). This means I will not be able to make the new heatsinks, or any others at least for the foreseeable future. I had...

Tutorial: 12X Star Trek Phaser Mod!

Hey Jay, nice work. Working with Pat on these, I have always kinda wanted to run a remote pot to the driver that could be controlled by the little dummy-knob on the side of the phaser, so you could turn down the power when desired. The shoots are very short and you could set the "max-power" much...
