Two 20mw 635 diodes; 9mw total output
You do know that although the 635nm diodes are closer to the green spectrum than regular 650/660 reds visually it shouldn't be as bright even if they were both 30mw and even then he's right you have to lpm to test your theory.

I'd say check laser66 on ebay for low powered ones. But for around $20 you can buy a 20mw 635 from modwerx.
