Born Nov 73 have loved lasers since I was old enough to look at my Dad's Edmund Scientific Catalog.
Lasers, high voltage electric mad scientist type projects. Had a stint building homemade jet engines from turbos pulled out of a junkyard. Very few things are more exciting than the visceral raw power these little marvel's of engineering can create when pushed to her edge of her physical limits.. nothing more scary then watching one self-destruct when accidentally pushed into positive feedback from excessive fuel.
Anything that makes a big boom is game for me. Especially if I make it myself... Had participated in amateur firework competitions where everything is literally made from scratch including the gunpowder. All from resources in my backyard. Shells created that dwarf even the biggest on some local 4th of July displays.
Deeply into electri rc planes and helis and extremely overpowered quadcopters or drones.. 2000W in a 400g machine is insanity.. also I'm into fully aerobat ic 40% scale RC planes with motors as big as 150cc 2 stroke swinging a 32-in prop.. unlimited thrust. Thrust is mind blowing.. even had a quick thought of using the plane as stump puller once upon a time lol.. stupid sounding idea I never tried it but if so I think it would have actually worked..
