Can you take a video plugging the battery ?

Jim

I did the video, but the quality is horrendus, it isnt worth uploading.. :yabbem:

but trust me, this is making contact and as soon as i plug it it stays green, i removed the head of the laser, and i saw the green beam for 1 second, and it shutdown itself again... then after second try nothing...

aparently it isnt a battery problem.... this is driving me insane, srsly:(

thank you for your kindness of helping a noob like me =/, any other tip?

Can't think anything else. Try finding another 18650 battery or sending it to a reputable member of our forum.

Despite your conviction that it isn't, this sounds a lot like a battery problem. All of my green lasers that are not IR filtered produce the red dot when they have barely enough voltage to turn on. The red dot is not a sign of misalignment specifically, it's pretty much what a green laser will do when anything is wrong.

I would buy a new battery and/or charger. I personally give it an 80% chance that your problem is in one of those two components.

Also possible (but significantly less likely) is that you may be running or have tried to start the laser when it was too cold. We're talking quite cold here. Turning on a laser when it is near freezing can permanently damage it.

Sorry to hear about these problems. I had my battery plugged into the charger for about 3 hours and the LED was still green (it was green when I plugged it in). The battery was not warm at all, so I assumed it was not charging. I took the battery out and tried it in my laser. It worked, so I guess it WAS charging. I haven't recharged the battery for 3 days now, since the laser is still as bright as ever. I'm not sure whats wrong with your battery... Hope you get this problem fixed! Contant O-like about this, maybe they will send another battery or charger.

Today i'm gonna see if i get to test it with another 18650... if it doesn't work, should i send it to O-like refund?( if i do this, il buy the same one again... lol)

small hint: I dont know from what country you are but is seems europe (as you mention the charger plug) so I dont know your laws but in europe they are all becoming ecqual with the eu regulations, so best to remove the pictures of the beretta unless you have a weapon license (even if it is BB gun, see story of borgxqueen on PL forum: he posted picture of his BB gun two years ago, police found it recently and came to his house and confiscated them, he ended up paying a huge fine cause in his country all bb-guns that resemble a real gun -so almost all of them that are not purple/pink/bright green and have no ridiculously wrong scale- are forbidden.. the huge fine was the lowest penalty as he had no criminal record and stayed polite.. worst case you go to jail for 5 years (yup for a bbgun.. what acountry we live in) and are fined the max of 25.000 euro (indeed for that same f*cking bbgun..)
Police is looking over our shoulder this and PL forum to, know the IPs.. so if you don't need to post that pic (and you could just used a dvd or something to compare siz) dont do it.. risk minimalisation ya know.. ;)
maybe I am just a bitparanoid because of borx problem, but better be to cautious..

Hey man I think I have a few tips that will help! I own the battery and charger you have and I must say they are very buggy. My first charge the light stayed green the whole time for a total of 3 hours! When I came back to check the battery the light was red. I let it charge until the light turned green again then I took it off. Just wait it out, mine has worked since. As for the IR problem as stated above it ls common when there is not enough voltage! Hope I helped!

Thank you very much, I was just about to order a few bateries in a few days to check if it solves, O-like gave me time, otherwise they will replace the module, tho I'm hoping is just the battery, I have a question for you, my charger "the O-Like one" doesn't seem to be red anytime, even if i let it trough the night... or even if the cell isn't even making contact, it will stay green forever, is this normal o_O?

So when you say you charge it through the night is that with the battery in it. If you leave the battery in it you may want to order a new charger or ask Susie for a replacement. Personally I disagree with who ever said that the batteries that come with olike lasers are not good. I don't mind them even though they are not the best. I don't think buying new batteries will solve any problems but it's your opinion that counts. Just trying to help. As for your question generally this is how it's supposed to work when you charge your battery: you take your charger ( not plugged in ). It Should have no lights. You should then plug the battery in the charger ( then light turns green ) then you plug the charger with the battery into the wall (light turns red until fully charged)

Oh and make sure you put the battery in the charger before putting it in the wall. 
