So as some of you may know a few places sell rubber air dusters like this one
Well I was rooting around in some of my old junk and low and behold I found a blood pressure cuff like this
It immediately occurred to me that these air dusters they sell are pretty much just like the the pumps on blood pressure cuffs. So I took the bulb off (it slipped off pretty easily) and then removed a small piece of rubber on the valve that limits how much air can be pumped at once and bam, I had a brand new cheap, effective and unlimited use air duster for my laser optics. I own 2 of the bulbs they sell specifically for lenses and neither of them were actually as effective as the blood pressure pump. I know a BP cuff isn't something most people have lying around but I figure if you do or if you spot one for cheap you now have another use for it. Plus you can put the pump back on and the the cuff still works so no need to destroy anything. Just hope this helps someone. Enjoy :yh:
