because i just tossed 470 dollar to a 500mw pl-c jetlaser.
Gawd someone hit me. this laser totally brainwashed me :p

i need some guys to say i made the right choice now....:p
i have a 1.4W 445nm laser and hopefully it will be a nice companion ^^

You will be really happy with 500mW+ of green. I love my titan which peaks at 400mW. Hopefully, you laser will have a better divergence then my Titan which is horrible.

You better get some beam shots.

I think youre sane. I got my 350mW from olike a couples of day ago and the beam is so crazy, i already want more power!!



I have yet to meter it, but from what i recall it was as bright than the spyder i jerry showed me.

I have spent about 650 dollars on lasers and laser related equipment since I joined this forum. :undecided: It kind of makes me sick to look at that number but I use my lasers regularly and they make me happy.

My 1.4w 445nm is.
 
well i just got a video from jetlasers and it takes 36 seconds to rise my 500mw PL-C to !!!600mw!!! then it peaks to !!!667mw!!! at the 1 minute mark and then goes back to 608mw in the time frame of 15 seconds. then the video quit so i do not know a average and when it stays stable.
but im going to plan on buying my own LPM next month anyways :)
 
You will love it. It does not make you nuts ^^… Though ppeople think I'm crazy when I tell them I paid 700$ for my lab laser. Then I tell them that 1.8W of green else where is >1500$ they kind of go " Oh well ok." ^^
 
Word of advice, don't tell people how much you spent on it, just say it was expensive.

Whatever makes you happy though. Most of the girls I know have an insane number of shoes they never even wear.... at least we use our lasers on occasion:)
