I have an m4 style airsoft gun and I was wondering where the best place was to get a laser mount for it.

Heres some pictures:

Probably any cheap 1mW "gun pointer" is safe enough, for that use ..... i suggest you to not use pointers more than 1mW, for this, first cause remember you're pointing it at other peoples, and cannot know if you hit their eyes, also accidentally, and second, some airsoft teams does not admit laser pointers in the games, or also if they admit them, they require that they are class 2 permitted lasers.

Safety first, all the times ;)

Also, remember that, if you are planning to use the pointer for hidden hunting / sniping, it have the bad abitude to work in both the directions :D

Go for a 1mw green module. This would be perfect for your situation. Low power and yet very bright!

He should get a Real 532nm 1 mW lasers, Not 5 mW+

Yes, perhaps I should have put more emphasis on the uncertainty of green (and likely reed too) power levels. Particularly as an air-gun sight is almost certain to be pointed at some ones face.

Don't air gun stores have laser sights?
Perhaps they cost significantly more than $35, and may be properly power checked.

Perhaps the best solution is to send whatever is bought to a member with a LPM for calibration.

Believe it or not its going to be hard to find a real 1mW laser. You might try some UK, or Australian sources.
