The outdoor pic (first beam show above) was a standard setup snap, so that is what the #100-2 (~120-136mW) looks like on normal exposure outdoors, at night, with a flash distracting you :) I was trying to figure out how to take a normal-time picture with no flash, but the smarter-than-me camera would not let me (subject too dark message every time).

EDIT:

Take it off Full-auto,

And put it on P or M if it's got it. P would give you full control

Then try doing no flash should work.

Full Auto = Everything adjusts it self and your restricted a lot
P = Program
M = Manual
TV = Shutter speed priority
AV = Aperture priority
FYI

It has P, M, & a few more (A = Aperture, S = Shutter) :) I'll try tonight.

I took these pics of my IQS pen with my Iphone. Does that mean they're with exposure?

Comicly enough those beamshots are from my $8 IQS Pointer.

Lol, the only seller from whom it's MORE DIFFICULT to get lasers in Canada! :(

Is there an equivalent Canada-friendly "gem" for the purchase of relatively low cost (< $100) greens?

Suppose I wanted to maximize my power at $100 investment.

I thought I'd read on another of the IQS threads that someone had talked him into shipping to Canada, that there was an additional charge, but it was not a lot and the shipment did actually arrive OK ... Did I mis-read that? Have you emailed him using the email sampson provided?

I just received 2 Super Mini #20 Green Laser Pointer from itemquickship and both are DOA. I've tried at least 5 different batteries in them to no avail. I contacted IQS and got a Joplin, MO address to return them to. I'm pretty bummed that neither of them work because the host is the size of a two AAA battery compartment of a pen pointer.

Wow. That sucks. Try reverse polarity, its worth a shot seeing as how theyre DOA anyways. Did you get a good look at the contacts?

Bummer. IQS will definitely take care of you!

What batteries did you put in them first? I have heard that some of the Lithium (Energizer Ultimates maybe?) fry pens ...

Let us know what you hear. Make sure you email him to let him know the return USPS tracking #, and remind him when thety arrive, becasue I think it is a PO box that he has to go to.

Already tried that. Insides look nice and shiny. Battery feels snug inside (no rattling back and forth). Sad.

Super Mini #20 Green Laser Pointer compared to Super Power #100 Green Laser Pointer and a US Quarter.

The Super Power #100 and Powerful #40 also came in the same package. Both work fine and according to my LBII LPM are both up to spec but not over. Still very happy with both pointers for the price paid!

did you try pulling the spring out a bit? I have purchased dozens of pointers similar to these and usually if there is a problem it is solved by stretching the spring out a bit.
