Oh that's right the city. It will take a lot of earth hours to save the planet from that pollution

WOW did someone piss in your post toasties this morning (pun intended)? Maybe im taking your posts the wrong way but you seem really hostile about the earth hour idea. Do you even know what earth hour is about? It is just to raise awareness of wastefulness not to cure the worlds energy problems in one hour. Nobody is forcing you to participate and im sure no one will notice if you dont participate but some of us were thinking it might be fun to take advantage darker(however slight it may be) skies.

Night is night... even the moon doesn't take away that fact. Turning out all of the lights won't make the sky darker. That's just silly

c_j I think you need to get out of the city more often--viewing the stars and planets is complelely different if you are far away from any city light pollution-or when there in not much Moon showing same thing with lasers- try it sometime.---HZ ps you will get more positive rep if you are not so negative about things--LOL:tired:

Na you just read me wrong like KillrB did. I was thinking more about what earth would look like with all of those lasers going off at once. Would the guys at the space station see the collection of them. Now that would be cool.

But about Earth Day... You remember Captain Planet? It was an ok show but sometimes it got really weird and gay about saving the planet. I'm all about the health of earth but I hate hippies

I've been watching to much South Park and Cartmans views on hippies.

You had to be there--not explainable. Hippies got bombed -but did not bomb anything. I never could stand not being clean- so not a dirty hippie. I used the word 'hate' very little. I had a friend get killed at Kent State and another end up in a wheelchair and lost way too many friends in the Nam.

There (IMO) are two times when man hates no-one. In the grave and as a new-born in that room full of babies at the hospital. Babies and the dead care not who is next to them.. Life can be a few hours or 100+ years but it IS way too short to waste my time a hatin'. peace HZ:thanks:
