cheapest memory card

You should be careful when buying memory devices for "cheap". I've heard of instances where the device was "hacked" into showing that there is more memory than the device physically has...

i heard this too but his guy has a perfect rep and i would try to put a 15 gb file in it.

All you'd have to do is format it and you'd know. Once formatted it will show true capacity.

That's not correct - when hacked well, the "controller chip" (the one that reports the device's capacity to the O/S) has been told that the memory chip is (say) 16gb. Therefore, the only way of telling if this is the case, is to store and retrieve back a 16gb file without corruption. Most of the time, you find that they take a 2gb stick and hack the controller to show 16gb or even 32gb, since the vast majority of users only use around 1-2gb, the fraud goes unnoticed.

That doesn't mean I'm wrong, buddy :p Most will change after you format them. I've never even seen a case like you've mentioned. However, I have seen PLENTY of threads saying "I formatted my memory card and now it says Xgb." I frequent PSP forums and see this all the time.

You only waited less than a day for input? Methinks you didn't really want any.
