Hi all!

I´m a (soon to be) 30 year old software developer liviing in Sweden whos interest in lasers started to bloom quite recently again after quite a long dormant period when all I saw of lasers where the 9-10year old kids who had them but didnt have a clue what -not- to do with them. Happily I got a tip from a co-worker about a Swedish site that sells (overpriced) lasers and because of that my interest woke up again.

It feel really nice having this interest now adays when i can actually afford buying a laser without saving for a couple of months :)

I´v got a passion for web-development, image manipulation and computers in general if we are talking about interests outside the world of lasers.

Yes, I have spend alot of hours here already. Seams like a good palce to be if you want to learn to build your own laser some day :)

Ska prova en Blue-Ray laser snart. Har beställt en röd också som borde komma vilken dag som helst. Nästa del efter dom två blir att köpa en mängd billiga delar och lära sig sätta ihop en egen. Kan bli riktigt intressant. Måste skaffa mig bra utrustning och lite plats bara (bor trångt).

Translation of my last post:
I´m going to try a Blue-Ray laser soon. I´v also ordered a red one that should be arriving any day now. The next part will be to buy a bunch of cheap materials and learn how to assembel a laser myself. It could get really interesting. I just have to get good equipment and some space (I´m living in a rather small apartment right now).
 
I didn't mean to be an arse i just like to read and understand -I dont want to miss out on any valuable info ;)
 
oh my grandparents were from sweden i believe they said
so i'm cherokee indian -swedish and some irish = crazy laser freak lol
