Omg is this man insane!!!!!

Yeah his kid probably should have stepped back a bit. Before he shined it onto the balloon he shined it on the door behind the balloon and it reflected light on the wall behind the kid. It couldv'e hit him in the eye.

Oh god, ffs whats is wrong with these irresponsable people.
I will tell dragonlasers to force people to get goggles with their orders.

That website seems really fake. Ther is no way the laser featured in the video for the 300mW was 300mW. The highest powered pen laser available is probably 150mW which peaks around 180mW.

Stupidity:eek: Mark my words, it's these type of people that will ruin it for us all some day!

Mmh. Yup. Too close for my comfort. Never point a laser in the general direction of a 3yr old kid. They are kids, therefore unpredictable... Takes half a second and zzap! :(

Pens are available in the 200mw - 230mw peak range, but makes no difference. I posted a comment trying to get his attention a little bit.. hopefully he reads it.

The laser was nowhere near the kid.

He had a higher chance of getting hit by balloon shrapnel.

He could have tripped, the kid could have moved, a lot of things could have gone wrong. Are you saying you see nothing wrong with the video?

Correct, I dont see anything wrong with that video..

He could have tripped, but he didnt.

The kid could have moved, but he didnt.

A car could have come crashing through the side wall.. but it didnt.

The video as is , isnt a problem, theorizing what "could have" is the problem.

Im not being funny but its the fact something could of gone wrong and risking your own childs sight for a youtube video? comon seriously its comon sense to not risk danger to your child or anyone

Arenared.... Point a Laser In my direction... whether you hit me or not... and
I'll react the same way as if you pointed a loaded gun in my direction
whether you fired it or not....

Then maybe you would see a difference...
I can defend myself... a kid can't...

Maybe it's just me... but I tend to err on the side of common sense and safety...

The point is that this type of behavior is not responsible use of a potentially dangerous piece of equipment. In fact the child may have endured some damage due to exposure to scatter, however minimal it may be. Mistakes can and will happen, the probability increases with time. Nobody is flawless. It's not a right to be able to own a laser, it's a privilege, and as with all privileges comes responsibility. Arenared, you are a friend of mine and I'm not trying to start an argument with you at all, I just don't think it's right to advocate this type of dangerous behavior. Regards, James
