Copper and billet aluminum custom laser pointer #2

Another 7.5W tube! This time, however, pushed to maximum power 5A, collimated with a 3X or 5X beam expander? Nice heat sink, looks like part of a Saber, powered by 2 26650 cells? But if you have an SXD, did you insert a hollow contact edge inside? With or without a brass spring? Or is there a small ridge that retracts when the cells are pressed and makes electrical contact?

I don’t use any kind of springs or anything like that I didn’t do any hollow contact edge inside. I don’t even know what that is to be honest. I just run the wires to my negative and positive and I break the positive wire into the switch and I use shrinkwrapping all my connections and for the batteries I just put the wire on the end of the contact and then tape it with electric tape, real good so it doesn’t touch the host of the laser NUBM 44 and 47’s are not case neutral so yeah that’s how I do. It works fine for me. I’ve never had any Problems.
