Nonsense, just like illegal drugs, the higher the risks, the higher the prices, plus the printed guns don't have serial numbers, very hard to trace in mass.
Also without universal registration a seller can claim any sale was made prior to the supposed UBC law, there isn't enough manpower to deal with even a fraction of the private word of mouth sales.
Keep saying this. Maybe you will convince someone other than yourself.

Trump open to invoking the Insurrection Act.

President Donald Trump on Monday said he would consider using the Insurrection Act to deploy the military if federal courts prevented him from deploying the National Guard to protect federal buildings and conduct law enforcement operations.

The comments came a day after a federal judge blocked the president from sending National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, which Trump claims has been taken over by left-wing “domestic terrorists.”

Trump told reporters in the Oval Office he did not yet see the need to use the Insurrection Act, but “if I had to enact it, I'd do it, if people were being killed and courts were holding us up, or governors or mayors were holding us up.”
Good luck with this. There has to be an actual insurrection to even consider it. And, crime doesn't count. There has always been crime. Trump doesn't have a legal leg to stand on.

I don't have too.
You're the one who wants to see UBC's, expect to be disappointed.

That's your opinion and it's typically not of any value.
That said..... Trump told reporters in the Oval Office he did not yet see the need to use the Insurrection Act, but “if I had to enact it, I'd do it."

p.s. Illegals are getting deported, because it's the law and nobody is above the law.

This is far from just my opinion. It is the opinion of state AGs in many states. This has been, and is in the process of being, litigated.

You're not going to get nationwide UBC's or universal registration, that would be infringement.

Previously deported blue state driver charged with murdering six people in crash.

A man accused of murdering six people in California was deported several times previously, according to United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Norberto Celerino, 53, faces six counts of murder in relation to a Sept. 7 crash while allegedly driving under the influence in Napa County, California, according to the district attorney, who said this would be Celerino's fourth DUI charge.

Far-left University of Chicago professor Eman Abdelhadi faces two counts of aggravated battery to government employee and resisting arrest charges for violent felonies during anti-ICE riots in Broadview.

This is the way these things should be handled. Not Trump putting the military on the streets of our cities.

You can't enforce a nationwide UBC without total registration of all firearms including self made, which would have to be serialized, also many firearms made before the 70's were never serialized, that and 10's of Millions would never comply with registration, a nationwide UBC would fail miserably and would be fought in the courts, that said you have no chance of getting any of it in the next 3.5 years

Illegals are getting deported, it's the law, and nobody is above the law.

There is still broad support for UBCs. There are few, if any, firearms that have no serial numbers in the US unless they were printed.

Only 4 states, but these states have other unconstitutional laws under legal review as well.
UBC's would still be a total failure.

  • New Jersey: Banned all pre-1968 firearms without serial numbers, with no exceptions.
  • California: Has stricter laws regarding unserialized firearms, often going beyond federal regulations.
  • New York: Enacted laws addressing unserialized firearms, including bans on possession and sale.
  • Connecticut: Also has laws that explicitly ban the possession, manufacture, and sale of unserialized firearms.

You answered your own question. In other news, Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal before SCOTUS was denied today. But, Trump said he would be open to pardoning her.

Yes I know, a national UBC would be a total failure.
However, in the entire history of our nation, we have never had a nationwide UBC and because of that history and the Bruen ruling ( History, Text, Tradition ) we won't.
