Pete Hogshit has now said the military won't be constrained by the rules of engagement. I wouldn't worry about Democrats. They will be fine as Trump and Republicans are shutting this government down.

Federal judge William Young ruled today that Trump's efforts to deport foreign students for their speech about Palestinians is illegal.
 
Democrats demanded a trillion dollars to spend and medical benefits for illegal immigrants, that's why we're having a shutdown, because democrats won't do a clean CR.

Democrats are holding America for ransom knowing it will cause a shutdown, democrats want drama to lie about.

Now Trump will do what he said and start cutting more government waste.

That's bullshit! Democrats didn't demand a trillion dollars for undocumented immigrants. They want to restore funding that Republicans removed from the ACA, Medicare and Medicaid.
 
Democrats do want a trillion dollars to spend, 1.5 trillion actually AND health benefits for illegals, democrats phrase it as, healthcare for everybody, but that's a lie, democrats want a reversal of all Medicaid cuts made in the BBB which would benefit illegals, these provisions made during covid were emergency provisions not intended to be permeant.

I would like to see a real national healthcare system, only without government exploiting it for control, that means protections must be built in for citizens rights/privacy.

Why didn't Biden pass national healthcare when democrats had the house and senate ???

This shutdown is all about Trump hatred and creating drama, because democrats have no other strings to pull.

Right. This is all the Democrats fault. Trump gave a mostly incoherent speech today to senior officers of the military. Hegseth's wasn't much better. He looked like he was as unqualified as he ever had been. He railed against "stupid rules of engagement." Trump called out the enemy within. That's right. He's going after American citizens who disagree with him.

I guarantee you it will not happen, without universal registration ( 10's of millions of Americans simply would not register even if it was a law ) there is no way to effect a law-based gun confiscation scheme, because without registration and universal background checks, there is no way to know who has what without door to door searches, and that would garner organized resistance quickly if the massive political backlash and the courts didn't stop it right away, that's if the laws to put such an unconstitutional scheme into action could ever be passed in the 1st place, which isn't going to happen either.

Trumps idea of combining the ATF and FBI has been stopped, this would have been a problem under a future dem administration.

Truth is under Trump we have clawed back some 2A rights and passed pro 2A laws, only in blue States do we see any infringement advancing and it's being fought in court.

p.s. Trump can't throw American Citizens into ICE detention facilities, the concept is moronic.

A lot of people don't understand Trump's sense of humor and to that end I will say that Trump doesn't always measure his words as he should, he likes to speak like he's talking to a room full of friends, and yes, Trump loves to hear the sound of his own voice...... but he's still vastly better that Biden.
 
No one said ICE would be going after citizens en masse. But, he is definitely going after us. He has called everyone who disagrees with him and enemy within. Trump has no sense of humor, except when it comes to retribution. He delights in that.

It would make more sense to say an enemy within.
