The Constitution says the President, in this case ((((( The President of The United States of America Donald J. Trump ))))), can remove a fed gov. for cause, the courts will decide just what that means, but it sounds to me like Trump has wide latitude in determining " cause " as there are no further stipulations.

Yeah, you are seeming to think Trump can remove her just because. Bill Pulte said that she listed both residents as primary. Even if this were true, it happened years before she became a member of the Fed. It would seem that wasn't the case. This according to the Washington Post this morning. "Cause" means malfeasance in office.

The Washington Post can't make that determination, they have no authority as they are just an opinion rag.

The Federal Reserve Act doesn’t define what “for cause” means, however the standard typically means removal for inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office, that said, neither Congress nor the Supreme Court has ever offered a precise, binding definition of what they mean in practice, so we shall see if madam Cook is cooked for being a crook or not.

The Washington Post is a premier newspaper that reports to their subscribers. Since Bill Pulte lied about Cook's supposed mortgage fraud, this seems to be a slam dunk.
