Did someone edit mine account i seen it today mine signature is gone Alien Abduction i just figured it’s maybe the cell phone but can’t see it 😵‍💫
 
Just as an example this is what has been happening. We've found a few accounts like this so far. All the users' profile aspects, Location, About Me, Occupation, etc were turned into spam links and the account posted a single spam post. This must have happened just today as this user had just posted a legit message this morning.

It first hit a bunch of old spam accounts from years ago. I was going through them and noticed the same url. I figured they just were linked together but then a few members got caught up in it. Seems to have stopped for now but it might happen again so make sure you guys have good passwords at least. I changed mine just in case because I had clicked on the url already.
 
Ears and I deal with typical spam everyday but this one shook us up a bit. Violating members is going too far imo
 
Yes, that one was serious. I don’t think I’ve seen account hacking for the intentions of just spamming before. Makes me wonder what else they were playing at.
 
Hey everyone... sigh. We got more threats from a nutcase whose been attacking members on this forum including the recent of DTRs account. You know the one. We manually have to approve of accounts now because of his criminal activities. Well he keeps trying to get in sending messages via his nickname. These do not get through however the threats and actions are attempted daily. Please use a secure password for your accounts to prevent this insane individual from hacking into them.
This guy has no life and too much time on his hands but unfortunately for him so do I. Only thing that worries me is your accounts getting hacked so again please make sure to use a long and complicated password.
 
It's too bad that the Two-step Verification option on the website still doesn't work, at least for email verification anyways. The email confirmation never gets sent when you try to enable it. I've tried with two different email accounts. Haven't tried using an authenticator app because I simply don't like those and I'm not going to install one on my phone just to login here.
