Looking to Buy a Thor M2/H2 in time for the holidays. Willing to pay extra.

Here’s my dilemma. A good buddy of mine is just now getting into lasers, and wanted to present him with a solid laser around the holidays. I understand with shipping times a China based company wouldnt probably suffice so I thought I’d ask here if anyone has one they are willing to let go for a premium price. If not, I’d be happy to get him another quality laser around that 200 and below price point and I’d be open for suggestions. I’d anyone knows a website in which I could purchase a quality laser in this time frame id also appreciate it. Thank you.

This is claiming the h2 can do 5000mW (if that’s the one u buy of course). I just want to know if this is true or not. I also saw this…

Mine is up to specs. It uses a 50% duty cycle for driving the lower level power setting. Mine measures 1648 mW at high power. There is a thread on mine as well as diachi who also got one at the same time as I got mine. Mine will burn wood.

This was extremely helpful. If I don't get any other suggestions on here I’ll just go with that one then but the higher power one

Hi,
1648mW is a high power, your better off buying it from Paul a member here for years instead of chancing you money to a unreliable Chinese company. I would go with Pauls Thor laser at 1648mW's that a real burner and get some safety glasses from Survival Lasers USA.
