A good way to keep your lasers safe and secure - whether or not you are actually a secret agent.

I bought a small cash box, and some high density foam (think like, the BS audio absorptive foam from amazon). 30$ all together

One key in my car. One key in my main safe (mainly documents etc.).

Then I mounted the cash box using a few N52 magnets to the bottom of. a pullout drawer in a metal filing cabinet. Prevents "accidents".

And I keep the like 50 Lipo/18650's in metal jars, separated with a bif of fiberglass, in an ammo can.

And don't store your Lion cells in your hosts. For obvious reasons. People don't understqand the dangers, and I don't trust people.

All my lasers are in boxes. I have so many and some are gas lasers, others are DPSS lasers and still others are direct diode lasers. I do keep them separated in airtight bags inside boxes that are then stacked into larger boxes. Far to many to justfy buying lock boxes for all of them.

I bought an old fireproof Steelcase file cabinet at an auction that's been repurposed to hold my lasers and batteries, if something did burn it would be contained.
If you can't find a deal on an old fireproof unit you could use a small modern file cabinet and wrap it in fire board from Homedepot or build your own fireproof box.
