That looks neat! :D I always like when hosts look rather minimalostic.

Storage wise, hexagons can be packed very efficiently like a honeycomb.

Maybe cut a perpendicular groove on the laser head, for color-coding the laser?

Edit: here's what I meant, maybe it would look better with slightly wider grooves than in the pics

It should be called the antirolling noob proof laser, for those who decide it's smart to keep a laser pointer turned on unattended too on a flat surface.
