Hello guys!!

I have a sci-fi laser 1.8W blue (model 501B) that I acquired in 2015 from Eitan and I would like to put new parts on it and use only the body.

I don't have any knowledge to be able to assemble my own laser.

Could someone help me what parts should i buy and where to buy to mount a good 3w or 4w laser?

if someone in the group knows how to do it and can assemble it, i can pay for the product ready just to put inside after receiving. If you guys know a good companies so I can bue the right product to my 501B, i will be very happy!!!

Thank you so much for your help !!

You wouldn't be saving much money by recycling the host. Check these guys out: https://www.survivallaser.com/Host_Assemblies/cat556089_826119.aspx and get any NUB- series diode module from DTR (actually quite decently priced)

Hi,
The NUBM44 will not go good with the host only because the driver needs heat sinking. DTR wont sell you a nubm44 with driver in a 12mm module . He only builds the high power diodes in a 20mm 25mm or 35mm copper modules. The large modules have a driver shelf to heat sink the driver. Even a 3 or 4W diode needs to have the driver heat sinked. Measure the inside diameter of the bell on the 501B maybe one of the modules might fit.

Hi,
Survival Lasers is a great company to purchase hosts and drivers . I have purchased from Gary for years and never a complaint. If you go for high power get their heat sink with the driver shelf and have them settle driver to you diode specs.
I have assembled many of his hosts for customer for a long time. If you need help im here
Rich:)
