I'm experimenting with a cheap galvo kit I bought on aliexpress, I also bought a cheap laser without a driver, I would like to make my laser blink. I have a few transistor with me, can i use them to make myself a ttl driver ?
thanks for your help.

Yes. Google 2 transistor driver.
I googled it a couldn't find anything intresting, I think that 2 transistor driver is just to make it blink at a given frequency but i would like to turn it on and off for depending of a signal.

Thanks for your help

Per my last email:
" Add your own open-drain signal output to the relevant gate. "

If that isn't decipherable, this project isn't for you. It isn't as simple as building from a schematic, since power sources, input signals, and laser diode characteristics vary a lot. Values need to be customized. There is no one laser diode driver that works with all laser diodes.

I don't mean to be condescending, I'm just trying to be realistic. Find something easier to start with.

^^^ TOO TRUE.
I wasted much time and some $$ trying to make my own scanner set--There is pretty much nothing to really gain from DIYing some parts-- and no savings either..Cyp is right..
And to this day nothing has changed..

I will PM you a link you need to check out.. hak
