Hmm, sure, they did reply on jetlasers@gmail.com . Yes I do have a goggles from laserlands to block off infrared. I hope it's doing it's job. Reason is I wanted to pop off balloons invisibly like a magician. I am not sure y it burn a hole in the paper from 10cm apart. Very depressing

I'm sure J/L will help you get this sorted out; you really can't beat their customer service.

A couple of things that you mentioned are concerning, one is that you say that you "hope" your safety glasses are doing their job; you really don't want to find out the hard way that they aren't protecting you fully.
Another thing was that you want to pop balloons invisibly like a magician; usually magicians have audiences, and the possibility of an accidental hit or reflection to an eye would be very dangerous, please be careful.

PS - I hope you are purchasing a quality LPM, such as a Laserbee or comparable.

I'm buying the lpm from laserpointerstore and safety goggles from laserlands. Are they good and reliable suppliers?

Laserpointerstore has had most things three times higher than the price you can buy many items for just about anywhere else, just make sure the item isn't one of those. Some are not so terribly inflated, so you just need to double check what the same item costs on ebay. And they sell a cheap LPM which members have reviewed and found to be junk.

Djphy, is it possible to cancel the Laserpointerstore order? I would really try.
Like Bowtie mentioned, Laserbee is the way to go. For $50 more you can get a pro unit.

well, it's cheap, I can say that. Just keep in mind it probably won't read anywhere close to correct for infrared, wayyyy off. It's only close for blue wavelengths, the others terrible.

I'd need to google it, check his listings on ebay, just type in a search for laserbee.
