I'm sorry to be a bother, I haven't been on lately and I don't have much time to search, but any news on the RGB release date? I know we had some issues with alignment or something. I saw a few pics on one of the reviews though. Looks awesome!

The production is ongoing but slow, we just back from China national holidays. There are only two units done currently so no point to make it public yet.

Five 10W LPM coming next week, price is 260USD.
Hello Podo. As you know, all or nearly so these diodes have rectangular or oval beam profiles. Have you considered an optional accessory that could accommodate a cylindrical lens or lenses to shape these beams to a more desirable rounder beam shape?

We could probably make such accessory but there doesn’t seems to be a demand for it so...

Rgb modules are all set for installation now! We should able to get 10 units done before Christmas.

Podo I was looking at the 1.2 watt 520nm and the 1.2w 525nm. What the the differences in beam divergence, power. I noticed the 525nm is $40 cheaper and was curious if it would be worth going with that diode over the other one.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

They are identical in terms of beam divergence. The 1.2W 520nm diode is NDG7475 and the 1.2W 525nm diode is extracted from NUGM03T.

In our opinion, you get just enough yellow in the green beam compare to 532nm DPSS, also a better option if you are not a fan of mint-green beam.

Hi cd,

We can't really do a group buy since the pre-christmas batch gonna be very limited and people from rest of the world are exicited for the RGB as well but we will announce the release date here and on facebook so it gonna be first come first serve with a limitation of one unit per each purchase.

The RGB laser is built for true laser enthusiasts out there- it's small and it takes days of aligning work and observation, several renovations just to solve one problem- so that you don't have to adjust the dichroes from time to time, the dichroes will always back to their original positions after cooling down. The unusually high defective rate is also what make us frustrated and set us back on the production of the RGB laser but it's finally here.

Look at this Monstrous RGB laser!

Full 108 tritium vials on the damascus steel custom housing! Almost costs as much as the laser itself!
