Hi first off I have just received my first laser and my charger ended up not working so I went to eBay to buy a charger and came across a listing for a charger and and 4 2800 mah, my current batteries are 2 1200 mah. So I was wondering if I could put the higher capacity batteries in my laser and not have any problems.
Here is the listing

As long as they physically fit and have the same voltage they should be fine.

That listing is totally bogus as these are basically 16340 batteries and 700 mAh is about as high a capacity as one will see with one. If they are exaggerating the capacity, what else are they exaggerating? I would not touch those batteries at all.

I wasn’t really going for the batteries but the charger is what I was looking for and was wondering if the batteries would work

Hi,
Buy good batteries being thrifty with batteries is a disaster. If you go for batteries get Efest or AW batteries Nitecore chargers are good and priced right. Just be careful who the vendor is for the batteries some are Knock offs of the original. Some one here can steer you right for a vendor. As Paul said the 2800 rating is BS and bogus 16340's dont come that high 700 is the max.

For a charger I would recommend the Opus BT-C3100 intelligent charger with four ports. It not only can charge all ports independently, but can also analyse the capacity and internal effective resistance. You can find them on Gearbest or Liiionwholsale.com. I have Nitecores and other chargers, but use the Opus to the exclusion of all the others.
