Who likes The walking dead!?
If you do than you know who Negan is and his girl Lucille the bat! Well this is Blucille the laser bat!
This idea has been in my head for the past 6 months and finally started working on it 2 days ago. It was unusually hard to work on because the bat was made of a super hard styrofoam and I was originally going to hide the wires inside the bat but every time I cut into the bat it made it weaker so I didn’t want to start drilling into it to run wires through because I was afraid it would break so I had to resort to exposing wires on outside, but even with them exposed it still turned out pretty good :)

It has a Osram Plt5 450B with around 300mw
AL heatsink with switch wired to back and a single 18650 pack. I intentionally made it a lower powered laser because I didn’t want a 2 Watt laser heating up fast with no Exterior AL housing.
I also wasn’t sure what category to put this under so I just made it General. Hope you all like it

I don't know what to say, really. I don't watch "The Walking Dead", so have no idea what you are talking about. I suppose you can put a laser into most any object. But, a baseball bat? Maybe someone will put one in an umbrella next. IDK.

Hey Paul,
Yeah it’s a show where the bad guy in the show has a baseball bat named Lucille so I thought it would be clever to get a replica and build a laser into it and call it Blucille :D

That's great, Richie. I figured out the name thing from your OP. I guess it's a hoot. Maybe my sense of humor is broken. :undecided:

thanks SGD :) I actually tried to hurry with this thing because I was secretly afraid someone would steal my idea. I only wish I could have hid the wires a little better.

An umbrella laser might not be a bad idea:undecided: Other than the chance of getting the laser wet, I would think the beam would show well.:eg:
Richie its pretty cool and what you like:)
Maby have one made from a harder plastic though to be able to hold up to the drilling.
I don't watch the show though, and fell way behind to try and binge watch the years worth of episodes..

Can you imagine working at the factory who makes those bats for Americans? Never heard of this show until this post, looked on YT for some clips, not my cup of tea.

I did love "Dawn of the dead" and liked the original "Night of the living dead" movies.
Those two movies though gave me my fill of zombie killing;)
I would think RedC would be best fortified if they came ah coming!
I didn't get though how some zombie's were smart and others just tried walking through a wall over and over and over:can: plus the taste of eating brains over say a thigh?

Not to derail Richie:)
