Haaaaa, quick of wit pun! Nice :D

And let's not talk about the necessity (or not) of the side benefits. But just for the record. Clothes do seem to shrink faster than they did when I was a kid. Think it has to do with the amount of sunspots that have been appearing lately :D
 I'll be following the suns activity more closely from now on.

Oh for Goodness sakes Bob !!!
Where have I been living, under a rock ???
I'm speechless !!!

I haven't kept up with all this.
What a COLLECTION !!!
I didn't realise you had all those, oh man, just wow.
And I thought I had a lot of Rick Trents but you've left me in the dust.
And Arctic's Treasure too, you've got some of the most exotic lasers I've seen.

Which one of Billy's did you get, I can't seem to find that one you bought?
Congratulations my friend.

:thanks: for your kind words RB.

I'm glad you took a look/see and enjoyed them. Being a Rick Trent fan myself, I was buying a kit or so a month off him last year. Got some real beauty's. Also picked up ArcticDude's "open source rgb host" which is a beautifull build. Still gotta do a review on that puppie. She's such a fantastic unit.

BadBoyBilly's build is on the second to last picture, to the right of the Sanwu Spiker. The picture really doesn't do it justice. Am planning in the future to retake the pictures and show off some of tbeir build quality with maybe a small description. In time hopefully. I stiil will be adding too, here and there when I can. Glad you enjoyed the pics. You've got some beauty's yourself, enjoy them also.

Hi Diachi,

Nice to chat to you. I may have accidentally posted in the wrong thread, my phone has taken me off piste as started writing a reply days ago and then only hit reply today when back out of the mountains and back into signal coverage.

Will track down thread and post again.

:)

Thanks MrEgg, heee "the above armory". Never heard it called that. But if it fits!

My favorite is a dual diode build from a Rick Trent kit. It's the one on the left in the last picture in the museum. It's a r&g to yellow. Haven't done a review on it yet. ( one of the many I need to get done ). Sent it to Lifetime to get a adapter so it can be fit with a Sanwu 3x BE. ( see photograph ). It throws such a nice beam of yellow. Planning on posting some pic when I get some time. But for some reason life keeps getting in the way of my laser hobby. :D

Here's a picture of the dot, I don't have any of the beam. Yet! :)

Ps, it is a bit of a discussing collection it's it? :D But I'm not done yet! Got some more beauty's on their way. :)

Hi BobMc,

Yeah.... armoury is problably not the best terminology as it suggests that your lasers are offensive weapons and that's not what we ought to be promoting here.

Lovely collection, very impressive.
I've seen a yellow laser in the flesh, shall have to try your link again to the image as for some reason it wouldn't work.

The Sanwu 3xBE is a wonderful bit of kit, I recently ordered one with a 1 watt 635nm Sanwu Silver Series and it's a gem, it goes a long way in correcting the Mitsubishi 635nm bar shaped beam profile. Works a treat. Very impressed, such a finely machine unit.

I wouldn't worry about the word "armory" anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows, and took it the way you meant it, in jest. :tinfoil:

Sanwu's BE's are a great piece of work, they diffidently correct some beam deficiencies, as the pictures will show.

Sorry about the link. I get a message that says the link timed out. :cryyy:

I better get that link up and running because RB needs to pay some bills. (truthfully he just wants to buy some more lasers) :D

The first two are pictures of the dot before I sent it to Lifetime, to get the adapter built so the 3x could be used. The last one is with the 3x installed. What a difference!

Hat tip to Lifetime. :gj:

Too true Bob, too true....
Wow what a difference, beautiful just beautiful.

Now may I ask about this adaptor that Lifetime made for you?
What's it do, is it so that the other end has a differently pitched thread so it goes into our standard threaded modules?
I'm on a lunch break so could you post a photo of it before I go back to work?
If that's what it does then I would love one because using a hammer each time scuffs the beautiful copper finish on the hosts. :banghead:

I'm starting to sense a pattern here. Somebody looking for excuses not to go to work??? :D

Your not suppose to use a metal hammer! Use a rubber one! Heeee heeee. :)

Ps, I don't have any pictures of just the adapter Lifetime made, it will have to wait a week or so till I get back to the house. If you look at the first set of pictures of my 4 dual beam builds and than the last picture you'll be able to see tha square adapter on the end. It makes the Laser about an inch or two longer which in turn gives a way to mount the BE on the Laser. Thanks for the kind words, the beam is just awesome. :)

Is there a secret handshake involved or is it pretty much when I eventually get there I can just see it?
