It's just 5 indeed, and that's only from the purposes we can easily thing of right now.
I bet the most exciting uses are ones we haven't even considered yet, which makes technological development in general so interesting

I'm sure there are indeed a few more interesting uses at the moment.
Aside from the laser needles and air fiber, the other three were simple adaptations of very conventional modern laser uses.
It's a bit sad that the NIF type fusion reactor use doesn't look like it's going to be suitable outside of research though. It'd be cool to have a bunch of giant laser facilities powering the planet in the future.
