hello guys im so glad i found this forum as it has given me so much helpful info regarding lasers and i have finally decided on buying my first powerful laser (sanwu spiker 445nm 3w) cant wait for it to arrive see you about guys!
 





Welcome to the forum. Sanwu Spiker 3 watt, yep, she's a beast. Got lots of protections on it underdrive/reverse polarity/overheat makes it a great unit. With that much power make sure you get the correct safety glasses you will need them. Enjoy and be safe. :)

anyway for goggles i did buy a set of ebay for £10 however now im thinking they might no be adequate they look poorly made could you recommend a quality pair which i could buy in the uk preferably ?
 
Trump, you can get these Eagle Pair brand from Survival Lasers International store, they are good quality goggles at an affordable price. Safety Goggles.

It isn't UK based, but you can't go wrong with survival laser with their eagle pairs. Also for being a member you get a 10% discount with the code LPF445. You need OD4+ for 190-540nm. They are not cheap, but you can't put a price on your eyesight.

curtis have you ever purchased anything from sanwu ? i placed my order 2 days ago and received a confirmation email but have not had a follow up email saying its been dispatched i paid extra for priority delivery which is 2-5 days i believe just hoping this is normal

If you wouldn't mind me chiming in. I've purchased quite a few times from Sanwu, ( expedited shipping) as per their website it's up to 5 days to prepare order ( not counting weekends ) and than 2-5 days for expedited shipping. Went through the same questions whern I first bought from them . Hope it helps. Best wishes.
