So I accidentally found the plastic lining on the battery tube while attempting to put tape on the inside of it... It was hiding there pretty well, I guess.

Lol. Probably still be able to add tape to the inside of that then to get rid of the rattle. It is hidden in there pretty well, I only found it tearing mine apart as far as I could with desoldering anything.

Nice. Glad to see you like yours. I found these when they first listed them on ebay and was going to order one to sacrifice for the sake of the forum but then they did the giveaway and it seems everyone that has one is satisfied with them. Now diachi's just needs to make it to him already.

May I ask how the brightness holds up to your Anser? That looks like a pretty good option to go for should my current 532 quit working suddenly.

Once it warms up in my hand to about 70 degrees, it holds a rock steady 4.2mW and looks just as bright as my laserlands 520nm does. I love mine as I know it is safe for actual pointing and IR filtered.
