Oh um ok, my bad. Thank for all the help and the explanation; I'll be picking up an extender for which ever laser I end up going with.

I should have added, yes a BE and a Telescope are essentially the same thing. Minimum two optics - although you could use more if you wanted to perform additional correction on the beam.

The jist of it is that a BE is a Telescope used in reverse.

Damn that video is crazy and he is probably only using a 50mw-100mw green laser since its 2007. Not that I really care to talk about Alaskan after he pulled his little stunt, but he also said a telescope is a much better choice rather than a BE, but you basically just said a BE is the same thing? (I'm guess the JL 10X BE has 2 or more optics)

HighPO my friend, I don't know what happened but Alaskan is a good guy and he's been away from home for a long time working in a war zone "Afganistan" so we all have bad days All should be well:beer:
He also is into these BE's more for the beam distance and as far as I see "RedCowBoy" is the only one who truly uses them for burning. He does though in a controlled and enclosed enviroment. He has to be a little MIA these past days as he hasn't chimed in and really haven't seen recent post either.

Oh yeah I saw that as his location, but still that was just strange for him to do that and then post about it in this thread, but whatever I'm over it. I don't doubt he is a knowledgeable, nice guy since he is so popular on this forum, but obviously I had a bad/strange first impression of him. I do know you can burn things far away with a BE since I have watched videos of it and I also know that they are pretty incredible at making the beam so narrow at such a far distance. I saw a thread of a 20X BE on this forum and it was pretty insane. So with both of those points, I think a BE is a good way to go since I can burn when I want to and make the beam travel much further with the same piece of equipment.

You dont need to believe but this guy keeps PMing me under different names, I keep blocking and he shows up again under another one. Just too coincidental and I'm not buying it, the more hate and discontent spewed the more I am convinced. One of the photo's sent to me in PM was very sick, so forgive me for calling him out in public. Of course the stars might have aligned poorly for an innocent man, but I doubt it very much. One of the statements VG made to me was in regard to being "obsessed with high power" and now this and another PM from this guy, if complete coincidence it is wild.

You dont need to believe

If you're going to be calling someone out for being a known troll/returning banned member then you should provide evidence to back up your claims.

I'm not saying that you're right or wrong either way, but evidence would be nice. If you don't have that then I wouldn't mention it until you do.

Edit: I see you made an edit... In that case, bring it up in the vets section. Show us the PMs. Show us why you think it's the same guy.

I blocked this guy so I'm not reading any of his stuff, but I have not negged him, at least I am giving him that much benefit of a doubt. Feeding him well, but I edited to explain, add more. We can talk about this more later, not in a mood to deal with this more tonight. Hard to post using my I pad, thing keeps posting mid sentence on me. After tonight I had it with the occasional unsolicited PM messages from newbie trolls, closing off ability to PM me so I don't allow the psycho anymore PM ability with me.

You ask for proof, what the hell can I provide, I can't give a fingerprint, I don't have jack to prove anything any more than you can prove me wrong and you yourself are also calling me out yourself, prove me wrong then. Internet is anonymous for most members, good luck.

Edit: Alaskan, yes I hear ya about posting on an iPad, total PITA on my phone too. I stick to the PC as much as I can. Anyway - back to the topic at hand, beam expanders, yes?

Hahaha ok this is a joke anyway...I have no clue what tf is going on here but I literally sent Alaskan 1 message asking about Beam Expanders and how they work.....for some really odd reason he just made up literally everything he just said. And just for the record, I didn't even attach a picture to that PM so again I have literally no clue what he is talking about....You need help bro....
