Yo guys,
Just wanted to show of the builds I've been working on the past few months (consider that waiting for the parts counts as working time too lol)
From left to right:
First one uses an Oclaro 700mw diode running at 1400ma (~900mw) from an 4x AMC7135 board with an 3 element 650nm coated lens
Second one uses an Osram PL515 powered by an x-boost mini at 160ma with an acrylic lens. So power should be about 40mw
Third one was a tricky build.
I used your typical 18V 5W DX buck driver @1.25A with an Osram PLTB450B and and an 3 element 445nm coated lens (<1.2W).
The problem was that the stock flashlight only fitted one AA type 3.7 Li-ion but I needed a power supply of >6V.
So i sanded down the inner barrel (took almost an entire week lol) in order to fit two 15266 li-ion
As you can tell I also changed the tailcaps to match the output color but unfortunately I did not found any fitting blue tailcaps online so I just went with the black ones for the third one.
And everything is housed inside a smooth SS C3 host I ordered from fasttech
And my old nexus 4 box turned out to make a nice carrying case
I also wanna thank Eudaimonium and Lazeerer for providing me the heatsinks and the driver
Greets
