Hey LPF, this will honestly be my first review so bare with me
As usual I was bored and browsing on eBay and came across one of them 8$ green lasers. I never really bought one my self so this makes 3 "ebay" lasers. The other 2 I have were gifts haha. Anyways I am pretty impressed with this little thing. I will be going to my fathers tomorrow so I will update this with a LPM video.... My first thoughts were "there is no way this will be any good" until, I gutted it and got it on the bench! It is dam bright. No crap Justin, its a fricking laser ha! All I can say, I am pretty happy with it. It has a very nice rear clicky, the "host" isn't all that bad either.. Now, it does NOT and can NOT compete with my other handhelds but non the less its pretty cool for the price!

Not bad for $8, looks like you got a pretty good little laser! It seems by the video that your laser has a pretty neat looking dot, or is that just my screen tricking me? ;)

Surprisingly it makes a very nice tight beam and dot!

There are so many these days in the same price range $8 or so---is amazing actually---for the price of 2 Venti Frappuccinos at Starbucks you can buy a 532nm laser at retail price---meaning it did not cost more than $2 to make.

I know all about mass production to lower costs but still, it is amazing how some items are sold at the price point they are at. Look at that laser, you have materials, labor, components and shipping and it is in your hands for $8. Pretty crazy!
 
VERY TRUE. Not many people think about those things when buying a laser! I sometimes wonder why the great vets here that do such great work don't charge a little more for their services! It's all worth it IMO
 
Good review. I have one identical it is made by Tesoar. Mine was £3 at a car boot sale. Mine can light a match at close range when focused O.o which is surprising. These are great little lasers, no need to worry about them as they don't break the bank, and they work very well even in the cold.
 
I want a high powered laser and one that is quality, and the fact that I searched the internet for over an hour trying to find a satisfactory Laser really is annoying.
 
Podo sells over spec 100mw 532nm HH for 15 dollars.

I mean seriously, the difference between 500mw and 100mw is not all that fantastic, yes you can see it, it looks twice as bright but so what, 100 mw is plenty fun and for 15 dollars why buy something stupid expensive just to look a little brighter, you can see 100mw great. Hell buy 2 and hold one over the other, now you saved a bunch of money LOL
