But... But... I'm not Alaskan...

(Thanks for the compliment though!)

Well, apparently I need reading glasses

H2Oxide, I am so sorry, I think I've seen Alaskan with a prism before now as an avatar and I just assumed it was him :D no idea why as the images are totally different! I'm worried that I'm not paying enough attention of late haha! I blame many late nights this week! Glad I'm finally on holiday!

The longest LPF intro thread has 301 posts. At this rate we'll beat it in no time.

I agree, this one has a chance at a new record.

I honestly doubt my rhetoric is interesting enough to garner that sort of spectacle XD

You even type like you have an IQ of 147. There are not enough women interested in science, engineering, electronics etc. You are needed here, please do not moderate your rhetoric, it can garner that sort of spectacle.

:) Don't mistake me for anyone either XD
Are cat avatars popular on this forum? Don't want to be taken for someone else if I change mine to a cat X3

Ahaha I type like I have an IQ of 147? I think I type more like someone who never leaves the house and spends all of their free time reading. A genuine basement dweller :D

Welcome welcome welcome! and I'm sure many of us are basement dwellers, or something of the sort. I was for most of my life, though not by choice!

Oh, why not by choice(If it isn't too personal)?

Also, thank you for the welcome :3

long story short, in my old house I was booted to the basement when my sister was born so my parents could watch over her. :p

but in all seriousness I was never sour about it though, as it allowed me lots of space, and I was still fairly small at the time myself (5-ish)...I had the whole place to myself until we moved many years later (HS age). was always nice and temperate too year round. so I grew up reading lots... etc. etc. Now i'm an 'upstairs dweller' instead, but still keep to myself. so I guess I still am a 'basement dweller' at heart! :)

Well preferably something in that range, but that just wouldn't work since the average score is only 98, I guess 90 would be about right, although most people shouldn't be allowed to drive anyway. I look forward to seeing the new self driving cars, I hope they will make it safer for both drivers and pedestrians.

Lol That sounds amazing. Jeez, I'd have fought for that kinda freedom ^^

A decent chunk of my childhood was spent having to share a room with my brother(2 years my senior) and fighting about the dividing line between our territories. My step father worked at a print shop for NASA and I would constantly petition him for large cardboard boxes from his work. My freedom was in constructing kid forts and banning my brother from playing in them haha.

As I grew older I did end up having my own room, but it was always the one right next to my mother's so there was no tolerance for "cranking music" or noisy shenanigans.

Was going to post this in the jokes thread, but somehow this seems more appropriate.

Lol. Or cats. I really enjoyed that video. Not only was it funny, it had a point; a view I've often shared.

Was going to post this in the jokes thread, but somehow this seems more appropriate.

Welcome, Kitten,

I serve a couple of cats too, a 14 pound male, Golden Boy, and a 7 pound female, Sabrina. He loves to play "lets play I chase you and pounce on you." But when she gets too annoyed with that game and starts to show her "cattitude" (and claws), he's the one doing the running away. I might put them up for an avatar someday.

I hope you become a "cat mom" someday too.

Ed
