hi, EVERYONE
I need some suggestions/expirences from you guys on which company to buy from. I'm not meaning to be an annoyance but I want to hear what you think about buying as this is my first time buying/building my FIRST laser.

I know I haven't made a welcoming post but I will soon be.
Here are my current choosing companies
-Sci fi lasers : SF501b 2.4W Blue laser
-Survival lasers : Custom C6 Host/ S4 host : M140 2W : 1.8A x-Drive : G2 lens
-Custom ehgemus build
-custom sinner build
-WICKED LASERS (most likely not choosing )
Thanks and whoever replies, GOD BLESS YOU:angel::angel::angel::angel:

They are all good choices for a host depending on price you wish to pay-- and if you want a complete laser or just a host and make your own---is up to your own sensibilities---nobody can decide for you for you--a vote is pointless. People like different host for dirrering reasons.

SciFi doesn't even list any hosts or kits available for sale at this time

YOu need to do the homework and decide for youself really.

Only Survival Lasers, Sinner and Ehgemus actually design and make or have made their own hosts

I have been deciding for like 2 month or so and can't seem to find the perfect one ; if I only get to see one in person.. That's why I came here by someone on YouTube.

As Encap said, all are good choices, except the last one. :D
The only other thing I'd think about with a 2W+ laser is duty cycle (run time), if you are going to have it on for more than a short time, like 30sec. to a minute, I'd definitely look toward a larger host.
Of your choices, both sinner and ehgemus can custom build anything you want. Sci-Fi laser also has a larger host available, the Arcane IIRC.

BTW - I like your Dawg! :)

I'd really like a smaller one because people underestimate how powerful it is when I show to them. Duty cycle doesn't matter too much.. Maybe 1min? anyway I don't turn them constant on. Just seconds before I stop except for burning which I won't care that much.

If you are interested I have a few krytons left :

http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/10-discount-3-left-3-w-9-mm-445-kryton-grooves-90234.html
http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/2-x-phr-803t-kryton-grooves-93607.html

These hosts take 1 x 18650, or 2 x 16340, so they are not too big. The run times I recommend for the high powered krytons are 1 min on 1.5 off.
Lookin nice! May I inquire how long in inches they measure. Thanx:drool:

Actually we designed the S4 and we have another custom designed host coming soon. I think you'll like it. ;)

I would really like small hosts that have big heatsinks it just fit perfectly with the duty cycle and won't bother with power.
