You probably overpaid, it looks too similar to something like a 301/303 but hopefully you were pleased with it. Don't drop it, a 532nm will break easy and they are temprature sensitive. The charger and battery pictured are garbage, the battery should be ok though and last long enough in a low power laser like that. Does this laser have a visible beam? It should at least in dim lighting.

Do you think I should stick with it, or end up returning it? If I did overpay and it does turn out to be a 301/303, then I over payed about $40! Unless the person just used the same host and put in better specs... This was a part of a ninth grade grad present, so I want it to be decent :cryyy:. Tell me what you think.
I am supposed to receive it on June 13th - 19th.

Yes return it, $50 for a laser like that is completely overpriced! What kind of power output are you looking for as a gift? That can help us direct you to a good laser :)

PS: Last time I bug Ave to change accounts!

Yes stick with it, you can always add to your collection again later. I didn't say it was a 301/303 just that it has a similar look. Wait and see what you get, it may turn out to be better than expected. The seller apparently can be trusted.

I'll consider this if the laser does not turn out good. Please recommend me some good lasers. The maximum on my budget is 50 dollars.

Alright I'll check out the laser when it comes and test it at night, day, inside, etc. If it does turn out to be low quality I will take AmazingBeams's advice and return it. Thanks guys.

Awesome, you can get some pretty good 532's for $50. Check out the site below. They have some great priced lasers and are some of the best quality to ratio wise you'll find :)

LP 515nm 532nm 1-150

The highest output you will be able to purchase is 80mW which is plenty enough for beam viewing and burning(if focused).

I was considering laserbtb since they had alot of good reviews, until I heard a bunch of controversy of how the owner is lazy and the support is bad. Others were saying the laser was a piece of junk, so I didn't know if it was worth the risk or not.

I've ordered from them awhile ago. The service was fine, and the laser got to me in 4 days which is amazing with their "AirMail" option to California.

Most of their lasers are over-spec so you can expect a higher output power then what is advertised, so be careful when using them. Ask Kevin over there to print you a power graph :)
